Major Outdoor Living Transformation in Onerahi

Some projects require more than a standard installation, and this recently completed outdoor living transformation in Onerahi was a great example.
Located on a second-storey deck overlooking the harbour, the project involved removing an existing timber structure and replacing it with a modern Shadeland pergola designed to enhance both the look and functionality of the space.
Due to the elevated nature of the site, safety was a major consideration. Pre-planned scaffolding provided secure access throughout the build, allowing our team to complete the installation efficiently while maintaining high safety standards.
To manage rainwater effectively, a dual downpipe system was incorporated into the pergola design, helping distribute water evenly away from the structure and protecting the surrounding deck area during heavy rainfall.
For year-round comfort, eight Ziptrak blinds and two custom infill panels were installed using premium see-through mesh fabric. This solution allows the homeowners to continue enjoying their stunning harbour views while gaining protection from wind, rain, and harsh sunlight.
Custom flashing details were added to complete the project, providing a clean finish and improved weather protection.
The result is a modern outdoor living space that can be enjoyed throughout the seasons, combining smart design, quality materials, and expert craftsmanship to create an area that feels both sheltered and connected to its surroundings.
