Most patios don't need a showpiece. They need a blind that stays put when the wind picks up. ShadeTrack Pro locks the edge of the blind into its side tracks with a zip or kedar, so it's sealed from top to bottom. That keeps wind, rain and insects out, and stops the flapping you get with a free-hanging blind. It suits most patios and decks up to 4.5 m wide, in sunscreen mesh or clear PVC, and our Whangārei and Kerikeri teams install it across Northland.
Why ShadeTrack Pro Suits Most Patios
ShadeTrack Pro is the middle of our three outdoor blind systems, and for a lot of homes it's the sweet spot. You get a properly sealed edge, which a guided blind can't give you, and you can add a motor if you'd rather not lift it by hand. If your opening is wider than 4.5 m, or you'd like a spring-balanced blind with the pelmet included, have a look at Ziptrak.
A sealed edge, not just a guided one:
The fabric is held inside the track for its full drop. That's the real difference between ShadeTrack Pro and Classic Guided, and you'll notice it on a windy afternoon.
Manual or motorised:
Run it by hand, or add a motor on sunscreen mesh blinds, including a solar-charged option that needs no wiring. We don't motorise clear PVC.
Made for your opening:
Built to measure, up to 4.5 m wide and 3 m drop, in sunscreen mesh or clear PVC. A pelmet is available as an option.

Both lock the blind's edge into the track. Ziptrak adds a patented spring-balanced system, goes wider (up to 6 m in mesh) and comes with the pelmet included. ShadeTrack Pro covers openings up to 4.5 m.
Up to 4.5 m wide and 3 m drop. For a wider opening we'll split it into two blinds with a post.
Keep it fully up, or fully down and locked, and raise it in a storm. Wind damage to clear PVC isn't covered by any warranty, so we make sure you know that up front.
Classic Guided runs in a side track, but the fabric edge sits loose. ShadeTrack Pro locks the edge in, so it seals against wind, rain and insects.
Yes, on sunscreen mesh blinds, including a solar-charged option that runs off a remote with no wiring. We don't motorise clear PVC.
Sunscreen mesh for daytime privacy, softer light and airflow, or clear PVC to keep the view open and the weather out. Plenty of homes mix both, mesh where you sit and clear where you want the light.
A pelmet is available as an option. It covers the roller and keeps it clean. If you'd like one included as standard, have a look at Ziptrak.
Clean it every three months with cold soapy water and a soft cloth. Spray the track grooves with food-grade silicone, never an oil-based lubricant, and never roll it up wet.
3 years on workmanship, 10 years on sunscreen mesh and 3 years on clear PVC. Annual maintenance is a condition of the warranty, and we're happy to do it for you.
